Mt. Pisgah Nursery Ministry

Our nursery ministry seeks to provide a safe, nurturing environment for our youngest members and visitors! Our wonderful nursery is a valued and valuable part of our total ministry.

The Nursery is located in Rooms 101 and 103 in the Education building. Essential nursery information:

9:45am – 12:15pm each Sunday for children birth to age 3.
11:00am-12:15pm each Sunday for children age 3-5.
Children age 3-5 are encouraged to attend a preschool Sunday School class during the Life Group/Sunday School hour (11:00am-12:00pm).
Children age 5 and older (attending Kindergarten and up) are welcomed in all worship services and in our elementary Sunday School classes.

We are blessed at Mt. Pisgah to have a paid professional nursery supervisor overseeing our nursery on Sunday mornings and at special worship services! Tami Barille, or Miss Tami to the children, has been a vital part of our nursery ministry for more than 20 years! She is a retired special needs teaching assistant in the Chesterfield County school system, the mother of two adult children, and the proud grandmother of two amazing grandkids. Tami is assisted in the nursery by servant leaders from our church family, both parents of young children and members of our larger church community. These servant leaders make up our Nursery Care Team, serving on a rotating schedule and helping to insure that every child in our nursery is receiving loving care!

If you would like more information about our nursery ministry or how you can join the Nursery Care Team, please contact Kay Adams, Director of Children’s Ministries. All persons serving in the nursery must complete the background screening process described in the MPUMC Child Protection Policy.
