A Life of Joy Minimize

A Life of Joy
“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice. . . . My God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:4, 19

During the month of October, the sermon series “A Life of Joy” will focus on the Book of Philippians. Our Celebration Sunday will be on October 30, where you will have the opportunity to present your generosity card during worship. What really brings you joy? True, lasting joy is not found in material possessions, wealth, power, status, or many of the other things the world chases after to find joy and happiness. True joy is ultimately found in our relationship with God. It is living as a disciple of Jesus by following His example of serving others and giving generously. True joy involves a life of giving - giving of our time, talents, and money so we can be a blessing to others and make a difference in this world. A Biblical way of giving to God is the tithe (10% of your income). Another option is to move toward the tithe by increasing your giving by 1% from 2016.

“A Life of Joy” generosity card is available here. Please note that the ministry fund and the mortgage/maintenance funds are two separate funds. This generosity card can be offered to God in several ways:
• Place this card in the offering plate during the worship service on Sunday, October 30 (or any Sunday in October)
• Mail the card to the church
Complete the generosity card online

As a witness to your love of God and your thankfulness for His blessings to you, please pray about your part in “A Life of Joy.” A thirty-day devotional book is available here for you to use during your prayer time. Hard copies are available in the Gathering Room outside the church office.

Thank you for your faithfulness, generosity, and partnership in investing in God’s work. Your giving matters. Your giving makes an eternal difference.

In His service,

Stewardship Branch
